With a setting in the world of television, FAME & Other Disasters is my contemporary fiction novel about two TV celebrities who have a #bitchfest on social media. Who's side will you be on? #teammolly or #teamemma.
I am so keen to publish this book, it's been a work in progress for three years. This is partly due to a full request from a publisher who proceeded to not keep in touch for 18 months. So, I sent them an email thanking them for their interest in considering my work, but I was taking it back to self-publish it.
This is happening soon. SO EXCITING! It will be published before the end of 2024.
This book was inspired by my time working in television, where I began my writing career. With an environment full of egos, this industry can crush careers within an instant if you make one wrong move. Is fame worth it?
